    Congratulations to Theodore Busby III, the 2019 Recipient of the ASBMR Travel Grant to the NMRI Annual Workshop!

    ASBMR is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2019 NMRI Workshop Travel Grant, Theodore Busby III! Theodore is a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences student at University of Alabama at Birmingham. The NMRI Workshop Travel Grant provides funding to send one researcher to the Network of Minority Health Researchers Annual Workshop in Bethesda, Maryland. The major objective of the network and annual workshop is to encourage and facilitate participation of members of underrepresented population groups and others interested in minority health in the conduct of biomedical research in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology, metabolism, digestive diseases, nutrition, kidney, urologic and hematologic diseases. A second objective is to encourage and enhance the potential of investigators in choosing a biomedical research career in these fields. Congratulations again to Theodore!
