    Next Wednesday, July 12, at 1:00PM EDT, ASBMR will be hosting the webinar, New Directions in Clinical Research and the Management of Rare Bone Diseases: XLH. This webinar, hosted by Dr. Erik Imel, M.D., will cover X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH), a rare bone disease characterized by rachitic bone deformities associated with high FGF23 concentrations and resultant hypophosphatemia. Dr. Imel will also review the clinical features of XLH in children and adults, and discuss standard approaches to medical management, the limitations and adverse effects of standard approaches, and future directions in clinical research and management.
