    Congratulations to the 2013 Raisz-Drezner Awardees

    Congratulations to the 2013 Raisz-Drezner Awardees: First author Steven D. Rhodes, and co-first authors Takamitsu Maruyama, Ph.D., and Ming Jiang, Ph.D. The ASBMR Raisz-Drezner Journal of Bone and Mineral Research (JBMR®) First Paper Awards honor first authors of meritorious scientific publications published in the JBMR®. The award-winning papers are "Gpr177, a novel locus for bone-mineral-density and osteoporosis, regulates osteogenesis and chondrogenesis in skeletal development" (Maruyama and Jiang) and "Hyperactive transforming growth factor-β1 signaling potentiates skeletal defects in a neurofibromatosis type 1 mouse model" (Rhodes.) Their papers are included in the JBMR e-Compendium, Raisz-Drezner First Paper Award Winners 2008-2013.
