Announcing a New Edition of the Primer!

The Primer on the Metabolic Bone Diseases and Disorders of Mineral Metabolism, 8th Edition is the field-leading, one-stop reference for anyone working in fields related to bone health and disease.

This upcoming edition has been fully revised, updated and expanded by the leading researchers and clinicians in the field to provide concise coverage of the widest possible spectrum of metabolic bone diseases and disorders of mineral metabolism. Chapters look to explain basic biological factors of healthy development and disease states and make the research easily translatable to clinical interventions.

With double the content of the previous edition, the eighth edition includes 13 new chapters, 9 of which are collected in a brand-new section, “The Skeleton and Its Integration with Other Tissues.” Additionally, the book now presents figures and illustrations in stunning full color.
