Thank you for your interest in the ASBMR 2011 Annual Meeting September 16-20, 2011 in San Diego, California, USA! The ASBMR Annual Meeting is the preeminent forum for bone and mineral metabolism research. Since the first meeting in 1979, this major international event has attracted the world's leading experts in the fields of basic biology of bone and in the clinical management of metabolic bone disorders.

The ASBMR 2011 Annual Meeting Program Committee is pleased to provide this opportunity for you to suggest speakers and topics for consideration for the ASBMR 2011 Annual Meeting. Please use the form below to submit your proposal no later than July 30, 2010. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

    Guidelines

Please be sure that your session proposal is complete and includes the following information, as this allows for a quick review of the suggestions and limits the need to further develop an idea:

For a Symposium or State-of-the-Art Lecture suggestion, please include:

    • Session Title or Topic Area
    • Two Session Chairs – these individuals should be members of the ASBMR (please also list affiliation, country and contact information)
    • Three speakers with a suggested talk title for each (please also list affiliation, country and contact information)

For a Meet-the-Professor Session suggestion, please include:

    • Session Title or Topic Area
    • One speaker (please also list affiliation, country and contact information)

For a Clinical Roundtable/Case Conference suggestion, please include:

    • Session Title or Topic Area
    • One Session Chair – this individual should be a member of the ASBMR (please also list affiliation, country and contact information)
    • Two Speakers, with a minimum of two suggested case studies

Additionally, the Program Committee strives for inclusiveness in the education program by including international participants, underrepresented minorities and women as speakers and session chairs. Session ideas that further the diversity of the program, or help to identify members who can serve as session chairs, are extremely helpful and strongly encouraged.

Again, the deadline to submit your proposal is July 30, 2010. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to receiving your feedback!
