Recently, more than 300 national organizations, including ASBMR, came together in support of the Rally for Medical Research. This was the second consecutive year for the Rally, which calls on our nation’s policymakers to prioritize medical research funding for the National Institutes of Health. ASBMR Member and Advocacy/Science Policy Committee Chair, Larry Suva, Ph.D., joined the Rally in DC, collaborating with researchers, patients, survivors, providers, and industry representatives to raise awareness about the importance of continued investment in medical research. We urge U.S. members to contact their elected representatives and tell them to prioritize investment in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by completing this quick action alert.
