    Why was the ASBMR Fund for Research and Education created?

    The ASBMR Fund for Research and Education was created in response to the continued funding cutbacks in the scientific research community. The ASBMR leadership developed this initiative as part of the Society’s Strategic Plan and its initiatives.

    Is my donation tax deductible?

    Yes. ASBMR is a 501 (c) 3 organization; contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law. 

    How can I make a donation?  

    • To donate by credit card, please visit the donation page.
    • To donate by check, please complete a donation form  and include it with your check payment drawn on a U.S. Bank in U.S. Funds. Checks can be made payable to: ASBMR Fund for Research and Education, 8659 Solution Center, Chicago, IL, 60677-8006.
    • To donate by wire transfer, please contact the ASBMR office at (202) 367-1161 or asbmrfund@asbmr.org for information.

    How do I make a donation if I do not live within the U.S.?

    The ASMBR Fund for Research and Education supports researchers across the globe and welcomes donations from individuals in all countries. You can make your donation by using a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card or by wire transfer. More information about wire transfers is below. 

    I reside outside of the U.S. and am not able to make a payment by check that is drawn from a U.S. bank. What should I do?

    If you are not able to make a payment drawn from a U.S. bank, please contact ASBMR for more information on making a wire payment at (202) 367-1161 or asbmrfund@asbmr.org.

    How will my gift be recognized?

    Annual gifts will be recognized for the period beginning January 1st thru December 1st of that calendar year.
