AwardsASBMR Career Enhancement Awards (2008)The ASBMR Career Enhancement Awards (CEA) were created in 2004 to encourage the professional development of basic, clinical and translational scientists in the bone and mineral field. These new awards are intended to foster the academic potential and careers of clinical, basic and translational scientists in the bone and mineral field. The awards are designed to facilitate acquisition of skills and knowledge not otherwise available to the applicant but useful for the specific project outlined in the application. Outcomes of the award could include obtaining preliminary data to permit the applicant to better compete for a government, foundation or industry sponsored award, establishing a productive collaboration or expanding the expertise of the awardee. The 2008 deadline is Friday, February 29, 2008
Types of Awards Collaborative Research Support Award General Research Support Award Details relative to the award programs and application process are available via the Program Announcement and Application Form. Eligibility:The ASBMR Career Enhancement Awards are offered on a competitive basis to any ASBMR member, regardless of geographical location, employed as full-time faculty at the Assistant Professor (or equivalent) level. The applicant must be a member of the ASBMR at the time of the application and the award.
