Participate in ASBMR Webinar on Exercise in Muscle and Bone
Date: August 05, 2015
Exercise interventions can increase bone mass and strength during growth, whereas this effect is attenuated later in life. Likewise, resistance exercise can increase both muscle mass and strength in younger subjects, but middle-age and older adults show increases in strength with less pronounced changes in muscle mass. The webinar will review current evidence on the impact of exercise and physical activity on muscle and bone strength in both the young and old, and discuss the clinical implications of these findings. Presented by Mark Hamrick, Ph.D., this webinar will take place on August 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM Eastern. Learn more and register today!
