7th International Conference on Osteoimmunology: Interactions of the Immune and Skeletal Systems
Date: October 19, 2017
The 7th International Conference on Osteoimmunology: Interactions of the Immune and Skeletal Systems will be held from June 3-8, 2018 at the Avra Imperial Hotel, Chania, Crete, Greece. This meeting is designed to bring together leading international scientists from the fields of immunology, marrow cell development and bone biology to enhance progress in understanding the relationships between these disciplines. It is now clear that immune, marrow and bone cells continually interact. Under homeostatic conditions, these interactions are critical to maintain normal physiology. During pathologic states, the abnormal function of these cells contributes to the lesions of inflammatory arthritis, marrow failure and osteoporosis. This conference will provide a venue that will encourage interactions and new collaborations through lectures, posters, and open discussion. It will highlight the work of established investigators and provide support for junior investigators to attend the meeting. Short talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts for oral presentation. Submission of abstracts and application for travel awards is now open and will close February 28, 2018.
