ASBMR GAP Award Deadline: November 4
Date: October 23, 2013
Applications are now being accepted for the ASBMR GAP Award. The award, which will provide $50,000 in short-term funding, will be offered to 20 ASBMR members who have submitted a peer-reviewed grant application to a major funding sponsor within the last 15 months and received a full review but were not funded. The program was established in response to the difficult funding climate that is occurring worldwide and impacting the future of bone and mineral research. The aim of the GAP initiative is to enable award recipients to continue to develop and advance their research with the goal of improving their probability of receiving future funding. The award is open to established and young investigators, and to U.S. and international members. International members living outside the United States are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted by November 4, 2013.
