    FASEB’s Dr. Howard Garrison Addresses Possible Implications of Sequestration

    Recently Dr. Howard Garrison, Deputy Executive Director for Policy at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) spoke on Federal News Radio about the potential implications of pending budget cuts on science and research. Dr. Garrison expressed concern that sequestration could affect NIH grant funding alone up to 11 percent. Dr. Garrison also addressed the effects these cuts could have on young scientists.
