    The U.S. Bone and Joint Initiative Recognizes World Pediatric Bone & Joint Day

    In recognition of the World Pediatric Bone & Joint Day on Thursday, October 19, 2017, the U.S. Bone and Joint Initiative (USBJI) is urging doctors and parents to recognize the effects of obesity in children, and take action, so they do not lead to lifelong challenges.

    The USBJI offers four fact sheets on recognizing the musculoskeletal effects of obesity in children including fact sheets for parents and fact sheet for primary care providers.  For more information and to download the fact sheets visit USBJI Online.
