    ASBMR President Unveils New Strategic Plan

    In his “State of the Society” address to kick off to the ASBMR 2015 Annual Meeting in Seattle, ASBMR President Roland Baron unveiled the new ASBMR Strategic Plan developed by the ASBMR leadership. Illustrating how ASBMR is much more than the Annual Meeting and JBMR ®, he highlighted a new mission statement and new strategic priorities to be undertaken by ASBMR’s many committees, task forces, Officers and Councilors.  The following four new strategic priorities will be focused on in 2015 to 2018:

    • Close the Treatment Gap and Identify an Improved Clinical Trial Endpoint
    • Drive, Expand and Translate the Research Agenda in Musculoskeletal Science
    • Develop New Strategies and Revenue Streams to Invest in the Future of the Field
    • Increase International Outreach and Strengthen International Engagement to Create ‘One Global ASBMR Family’
