    ASBMR 2016 Annual Meeting Highlight: Gerald D. Aurbach Lecture Presented by Michael Snyder, Ph.D.

    The Gerald D. Aurbach Lecture, “Personalized Medicine: Using omics Profiling and Big Data to Understand and Manage Health and Disease” will be presented at the ASBMR 2016 Annual Meeting by Michael Snyder, M.D., the Stanford Ascherman Professor and Chair of Genetics and the Director of the Center of Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Stanford University. He is a leader in the field of functional genomics and proteomics, and one of the major participants of the ENCODE project. His laboratory study was the first to perform a largescale functional genomics project in any organism and has developed many technologies in genomics and proteomics.
