Research Supplements Available to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research
Date: May 21, 2013
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are offering funds for administrative supplements to improve the diversity of the research workforce. Investigators who hold specific types of NIH research grants, listed in the full Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), are eligible. This funding would go toward supporting and recruiting students, postdoctorates, and eligible investigators from groups shown to be underrepresented in health-related research. Administrative supplements must support work within the scope of the original project.
