Date: November 05, 2013
U.S. Bone and Joint Initiative (USBJI) is holding a summit on “Best Practices in Patient-centered Musculoskeletal Care”. The conference will be held on November 18-19, 2013 at the Washington Court Hotel and will feature lectures from nearly two dozen experts from a range of disciplines involved in the care of patients with musculoskeletal diseases. Participants will also take part in discussions and will contribute to the development of a position paper, to be submitted for publication, which articulates priorities and establishes the framework for an action plan that will help optimize care and reduce disparities for patients of all ages. The program was developed by co-chairs Dr. David Pisetsky, Professor of Medicine at the Duke University Medical Center, and Dr. Gregory Worsowicz, Professor of Clinical PM&R, University of Missouri.
