Aging in Motion Hosts Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Development in Sarcopenia

    Date: March 12, 2014

On March 28, 2014, Aging in Motion will host an event in Bethesda, Maryland, USA to bring awareness to sarcopenia as a disease and to what can be done to discover proper treatment methods. Currently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not have a policy on sarcopenia and there are no approved treatment drugs. Thus, patient-reported outcome measures as well as performance-based outcome measures are essential to developing clinical trials that might lead to sarcopenia treatments. This event will highlight sarcopenia’s pending definition as a disease and will focus on advancing treatment measures. Click here for more details.
