Date: February 24, 2016
ASBMR’s Capitol Hill Day was highlighted in FASEB’s most recent issue of Washington Update. ASBMR’s own Clinical Practice and Science Policy Manager, Lynn Mirigian, Ph.D., writes: “The success of this Hill Day was made possible by a collaborative effort between ASBMR and the FASEB Public Affairs Department to plan the event. Jennifer Zeitzer, Director of Legislative Relations at FASEB, worked with ASBMR staff to identify and schedule meetings with key members of Congress and to develop messages and materials. On the morning of the event, Yvette Seger, PhD, Science Policy Director at FASEB, provided training for the ASBMR leaders.” Read the full article on the FASEB website.
