Dear Colleagues, Registration for next month’s 2020 ASBMR Annual Meeting is now open! Remember, registration is free for all members, but all members must register for the meeting. Your complimentary registration includes access to the full virtual program, the ASBMR Pre-meeting Symposium: The Seed and Soil: Therapeutic Targets for Cancer and Bone and the entire Meet-the-Professor program scheduled to take place throughout the fall and winter of 2020. If you’re unable to attend a session when it is being presented live or you’re unable to attend the full meeting program, on-demand sessions will be available to all registered attendees for at least one year in the ASBMR website. Don’t wait! Register now on the ASBMR website, where you can also find the official meeting program! If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2020 – you can also do this on the ASBMR website. To the nearly 1,000 abstract submitters this year- all abstract notifications have been sent out. If you did not receive your notification, please email abstracts@asbmr.org with your name and abstract title to have your notification re-sent. While a virtual Annual Meeting will never replace the magic of us coming together in person, rest assured that the high-caliber science and education, abundant networking opportunities, and access to the latest innovations will remain the same this year. We will be rolling out numerous resources over the coming weeks to ensure that we all can optimize our ASBMR Annual Meeting experience this year. This will include training materials and tutorials on how to utilize the virtual platform. Thank you for being a loyal ASBMR member and maintaining your full engagement with ASBMR activities during these difficult times – I look forward to connecting with you virtually next month! Sincerely, Teresita Bellido, Ph.D. ASBMR President
