The JBMR® and JBMR® Plus editors are incredibly grateful to the hundreds of members—this year in particular—who dedicated their time, energy, commitment, and invaluable instruction as a volunteer peer reviewer. The journals broke monthly submission records as articles came streaming in during some stay-at-home periods, and our community rose to the occasion to meet this challenge. The journals were proud to launch CME for peer review this year as a continuation of programs designed to give more credit and recognition to this work. And after 1 year, the pilot for transparent peer review has been more successful than envisioned, with nearly 90% of authors choosing to publish reviewer reports alongside their papers, underscoring how the process of review improves all published articles. Thank you for all of your efforts to help our Society journals in their continued success! A list of our 2020 reviewers is available here.
