The Endocrine Fellows Foundation (EFF) and ASBMR are pleased to offer fellows training in osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases a unique opportunity to participate in a Fellows Forum on Metabolic Bone Diseases immediately before the 2020 ASBMR Annual Meeting— September 8-9, 2020. This year’s event will be held virtually. The program format will be a combination of plenary lectures and virtual breakout sessions given by distinguished leaders in the field, and fellows are invited to present their work in a poster for feedback. Members residing outside the United States are highly encouraged to apply. The application deadline for this year’s forum is July 30, 2020. Applications are being accepted for the 2020 ASBMR Fund for Research and Education Research Grants. This grant program provides a one-time award of up to $7,500 USD to three promising young scientists and physician-scientists in the bone field who are currently seeking to learn a new technique or to obtain additional project funding. Grant submissions can be in basic, clinical, or translational science and the primary focus must be on bone, mineral, or musculoskeletal research. One of the three grants is designated for an under-represented minority (as defined by the NIH) research scientist. The application deadline is Friday, August 14, 2020. Apply Now!
