The future of ASBMR and the bone, mineral and musculoskeletal field depends on you, and we are so grateful for our members, volunteers, and supporters who accelerate and lead the research agenda. We are thankful for the generous support of those who #StepUpForResearch, and encourage you to take this opportunity to give back to your global home today. Donations to the ASBMR Fund for Research and Education are used exclusively to provide research grants and training opportunities for basic, translational, and clinical researchers as well as allied health professionals specializing in our field. Each year, #GivingTuesday inspires people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. Save the date and help us celebrate #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, November 29, by donating to the ASBMR Fund for Research and Education.

The latest episode in our ASBMR Speaks podcast series is now available! Episode 3: “Metatarsal Bone Fractures and a Rare Bone Disease Hiding in Plain Sight” explores how leg and foot pain, low bone density, and repeated metatarsal bone fractures led to a rare bone disease diagnosis.

ASBMR has partnered with Figure1 on this new season of podcasts which is part of its popular DDx podcast series to explore the complex world of rare bone diseases and how advances in medical research are offering patients more options and more hope. The goal of the season is to raise awareness of rare bone diseases and understand how to recognize, diagnose, and manage rare bone disease cases. Our thanks to Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for sponsoring this episode.
