The World Osteoporosis Day 2020 campaign calls for raising global awareness of the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis. The campaign will emphasize the direct link between osteoporosis (the silent, underlying disease) and broken bones, which have a serious, life-changing impact in terms of pain, disability, lost independence and inability to carry out tasks of everyday life. Join ASBMR in raising awareness of bone health and calling for action on osteoporosis and fracture prevention in their communities. You can also join the conversation and build awareness by following the hashtag #worldosteoporosisday. For more information, visit the World Osteoporosis Day website. In honor of World Osteoporosis Day we are asking you to be IN this with us and support future osteoporosis research through your donation to the ASBMR Fund for Research and Education.
