Novel Targets for the Treatment of Osteoporosis

    Sundeep Khosla, MD

There are currently a number of effective drugs for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. However, all but one of these drugs are anti-catabolic, and there is a pressing need for new drugs that stimulate bone formation. The purpose of this webinar is to provide an update on new drugs on the horizon for the treatment of osteoporosis and to discuss how these might complement current therapeutic options.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Understand the new pathways being pursued in osteoporosis drug development.
    • Identify how the new drugs may complement currently available options for the treatment of osteoporosis.
