    Oxytocin, a new determinant of bone mineral density in post-menopausal women: analysis of the OPUS cohort.

    This study examined the relationship between serum oxytocin levels and bone mineral density (BMD) measurements in a large population of postmenopausal women.  It was found that high oxytocin levels were associated with high BMD especially at the hip in women with low estradiol or high leptin serum levels.
