The ASBMR Task Force on Atypical Subtrochanteric and Diaphyseal Femoral Fractures has recently published a second report in JBMR®, with a review of studies on the epidemiology, pathogenesis and medical management of AFFs published since 2010. Read the report.
ASBMR also has four new clinical task forces aimed at providing clarity on clinical issues relating to bone that will better inform health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of bone disease. These include:
