ASBMR is excited to announce the first Photo Scavenger Hunt at the 2011 Annual Meeting. Members are encouraged to take photos of the activities at the Annual Meeting and post them to the ASBMR Flicker page. Attendees can submit as few or as many photos as they like. Photos will be shared on ASBMR's Social Media pages and may be used in future ASBMR publications and promotional materials.

Photos can include (but are not limited to):

    • A Meet the Professor session
    • An award presentation
    • Attendees in the exhibit hall
    •  Young Investigators
    • ASBMR Town Hall Meeting
    • ASBMR members at 'California Dreamin'
    • Working Groups
    • ASBMR members having fun
    • A San Diego landmark
    • Your favorite Annual Meeting moment

Photos can be uploaded to ASBMR's Flicker page. You must sign in, but can do so using a Yahoo or Facebook account. You must also agree to the disclaimer in order to post photos. Photos will be reviewed by ASBMR staff prior to being posted. Photos can be posted during the meeting and until September 30th.

Please do not take pictures of speakers, posters or slide presentations. Good pictures will be unique, candid, easy to identify, pleasing to the eye and full of activity.

ASBMR staff will choose one winning photo in each of these categories:

    • Best Candid Shot
    • Best Action Shot
    • Best Social Activity Photo (California Dreamin or Happy Hours)
    • Best Meeting Moment (Exhibit Hall, Town Hall Meeting, Award Presentation, Working Groups or A Meet The Professor Session)
    • Best Overall Photo

Winners will receive a free registration for the 2012 annual meeting. Winning photos will also be published on ASBMR social media pages and on the ASBMR website. Photos may also be used in future ASBMR publications and promotions.
