    A new report from the U.S. Coalition for Health funding, Faces of Austerity: How Budget Cuts Hurt America’s Health, provides a close look at the impact of budget cuts across the public health continuum—from the shuttering of programs to recruit primary care physicians to rural areas, to programs designed to prevent the next measles outbreak. It is the product of months of collaborative work on behalf of 90 national health organizations representing more than 100 million patients, health care providers, public health professionals, and scientists nationwide.
