Request for Applications: NIH Common Fund Initiative "Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity in Humans"

    Date: November 11, 2015

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Common Fund is assembling a Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium (MoTrPAC) which will award $170 million in grants to researchers over the next five years to research how exercise affects the human body at the molecular level.  The program aims to extensively catalogue the biological molecules affected by physical activity in people, identify some of the key molecules that underlie the systemic effects of physical activity, and characterize the function of these key molecules. A request for applications has been released for individuals interested in the following grants:

The application deadline for all grants listed above is March 18, 2016. To read more about the NIH Common Fund, Click here.
