    ASBMR Announces New Impact Factor for JBMR®

    Thompson-Reuters recently released 2013 impact factors in its Journal Citation Reports®, revealing good news for the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research (JBMR®). JBMR®’s new impact factor of 6.589 is an increase over last year’s 6.128. In fact, the new impact factor is the highest it’s been since 2010 and the journal maintains its position as the premier journal in the bone field. Editor-in-Chief Juliet Compston said, “This increase in impact factor is excellent news for JBMR® and is a tribute to the work of the editorial team, reviewers and contributing authors.”
