    FASEB Analysis Demonstrates Devastating Impact of Sequestration on Medical Research

    The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) last month released an analysis of the impact that sequestration would have on biomedical research if implemented. The FASEB report predicts an 11.1 percent ($2.8 billion) reduction of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) extramural budget in 2013 if sequestration occurs.
