How to Share Your JBMR® Plus Article

Did you know? All articles published by JBMR® Plus are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share. Authors retain copyright, published under the Creative Commons license.
JBMR® Plus supports its authors who hold an NIH grant by depositing the accepted version of articles to PubMed Central (PMC). Authors must indicate during the submission process that their work was funded by the NIH.
Authors not funded by the NIH may upload their JBMR® Plus accepted manuscript to PMC to receive a PMCID. The instructions for uploading an accepted paper are available at PMC. Articles listed on PMC will come up in PubMed searches, ensuring wide visibility.
In addition, as an author of a JBMR® Plus article, you are welcome to
- Post your Final Published Article, accompanied by an attribution statement, on a personal website immediately upon publication.
- Post your Final Published Article, accompanied by an attribution statement, on your institution’s or employer’s department website, immediately upon publication.
- Make copies of the Final Published Article (all or part) for teaching purposes.
- Make an oral presentation of the Final Published Article (all or part) and include a summary and/or highlights of the Article in papers distributed at presentations or conference proceedings.
