    New Experiments Needed for Space Station Science

    The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), which manages the U.S. portions of International Space Station research, will begin accepting proposals for life science research projects beginning in June. These solicitations will examine osteoporosis, muscle deterioration, immune system responses, protein crystallization and vaccine development in a microgravity environment.
