Last week, ASBMR member Nicole Wright, Ph.D., MPH, University of Alabama at Birmingham, and National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) Senior Director in Science and Education Susan Randall, RN, MSN, FNP-BC (pictured above left to right) spoke at a Congressional briefing. NOF hosted the briefing, “The Prevalence of Osteoporosis and Low Bone Mass in the United States,” with Rep. David McKinley’s office to provide public representatives and guests with information on the lack of awareness of osteoporosis and the resulting economic burden.
