    Date: March 05, 2010

We mourn the passing of Dr. Greg Mundy, a pillar of our Society, colleague and friend, who passed away February 25, at his home in San Antonio, TX, USA. Dr. Mundy was an internationally renowned investigator in bone biology, pharmacology and cancer whose innovative work helped shape these fields. He will be remembered by many for his personable demeanor to all, his generosity in supporting the needs of our members, and the affection he had for his family, friends and colleagues.

A memorial service honoring Dr. Mundy was held Tuesday, March 9th at 3pm, at Benton Chapel on the campus of Vanderbilt University. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Greg Mundy memorial Fund in Clinical Pharmacology.
