NBHA Launches 2 Million 2 Many Campaign

    Date: May 04, 2012

The National Bone Health Alliance (NBHA) has launched a campaign against osteoporosis, 2 Million 2 Many. Every year 2 million bone breaks occur due to osteoporosis and only 2 in 10 older women who break a bone due to osteoporosis are treated or receive a simple osteoporosis test. Many men and women 50 years and older may have osteoporosis and not know, and more than 40 million people either live with or are at risk for developing osteoporosis. Visit the 2 Million 2 Many website and take the pledge to help put a stop to osteoporosis.  You can help spread the word by sharing their campaign videos, downloading the campaign materials to share with your members, and sending updates through your organizations newsletter and emails.  ASBMR is a founding organization of the NBHA.
