    Web Editor Blog Tackles Male Osteoporosis

    In his latest blog post, Dr. Joe Lorenzo stresses the importance of recognizing and treating male osteoporosis. Approximately 20% of the 44 million Americans with osteoporosis are men, and mortality rates in men with hip fractures are two to three times greater than in women. Unfortunately, male osteoporosis is “a significant clinical problem that is often not diagnosed until patients suffer a fragility fracture.” Read the full blog post here.
