Support the Bone Health Promotion and Research Act – Contact Your Senators!
Date: July 28, 2011
The Bone Health Promotion and Research Act (S.966) was introduced in the Senate by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-New York) in May. The Act would create a national bone health program focused on education, prevention and research by supporting national educational outreach through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Act also includes $250 million annually for three years for additional research to enhance the current bone portfolio of the NIH. We urge you to contact your Senators to ask them to co-sponsor the bill.
Thank you for lending your support!
