Raise Awareness: Next week is World Osteoporosis Day on Oct. 20th

    Date: October 12, 2016

World Osteoporosis Day (#worldosteoporosisday) takes place every year on October 20, launching a year-long campaign dedicated to raising global awareness of the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. This year’s campaign focuses on the devastating impact that fractures due to osteoporosis have on the socio-economic costs to society and healthcare systems, and yet only a minority of men and women partake in osteoporosis therapy treatment. In addition to wearing white, find out how else you can get involved on October 20th, here.
