ASBMR-BHOF Virtual Capitol Hill Day

The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) and Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) are partnering to realize US Medicare reimbursement for Fracture Liaison Service (FLS). Medicare reimbursement for FLS will have an immediate and profound impact in the United States in identifying and treating patients that have experienced an osteoporotic fracture.

We need your help to get your members of Congress to contact the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and urge them to make FLS coverage a priority!

Virtual congressional meetings will occur Thursday, February 16 and Friday, February 17, between 9am-5pm EST each day. Please do not make any other arrangements during these times. Considerations will be made to ensure that meetings do not occur outside of normal business hours for each participant’s local time zone. We will make every effort to schedule meetings with your desired elected officials.
