    Core Values
Core values are the guiding principles that provide an organization with purpose and direction.  At the June Council meeting, we had an engaging and productive discussion to identify ASBMR’s core values, which are listed below.  I hope that you also identify with these values, as we aim to pursue our mission and strategic goals with these core values in mind.

    1. Community – We embrace diversity and inclusion to foster respectful collaboration, belonging, and engagement.
    2. Excellence – We promote and inspire the highest level of achievement and integrity for the Society and its members.
    3. Leadership – We uphold the highest standards to improve musculoskeletal health through research, education, advocacy, and stewardship of the next generation of leaders.
    4. Innovation – We actively seek new approaches and take risks to achieve our mission by advancing the field, engaging our members, and improving health.

    Sincerely,
    Mary L. Bouxsein, Ph.D.
    ASBMR President
