Dempster, BSc (Hons), Ph.D., FRMS, taking place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM EDT. As a result of this webinar, attendees will be able to view a live demonstration of the steps involved in obtaining a trans-iliac bone biopsy from a pediatric or adult patient, review the basics of bone tissue processing and analysis in order to generate quantitative and qualitative bone histomorphometric results, and the standard nomenclature that is used to describe these results. Attendees will get the opportunity to view examples of information obtained from trans-iliac bone biopsies that taught important principles about skeletal health and guided clinical care in the pediatric settings, and illustrate what the bone biopsy has taught us about the mechanism of action bone strengthening drugs.
