    March 20, 2016

Healthcare professionals and scientists will discover helpful content to share with policy makers and the public in the BMUS, a data resource produced by the United States Bone and Joint Initiative in collaboration with a number of organizations, including ASBMR.

The BMUS is available in two forms, an executive summary for general audiences and advocacy efforts, and a full report that includes prevalence, health care utilization, economic burden, ICD-9-CM codes and more for each musculoskeletal condition. New to the user-friendly web interface is content that has been expanded where possible to include new information on children and adolescents, aging, military, gender, and ethnicity. The user-friendly interface provides downloadable data/fact sheets for use in presentation slides, reports and other advocacy efforts.
