The society is pleased to announce Sandra Leyan, FNP, the 2022 recipient of the Betsy Love McClung, RN, MN Travel Grant. Ms. Leyan is a Family Nurse Practitioner working in the orthopedics department at Red Salud UC CHRISTUS in Santiago, Chile, and launched a Fracture Liaison Service over two years ago.
The ASBMR Betsy Love McClung, RN, MN Travel Grant, is given in memory of Betsy Love McClung, RN, MN and her role in supporting the professional development of nurses and allied health professionals caring for patients with osteoporosis. This grant is funded by the ASBMR Fund for Research and Education. Congratulations once again to Ms. Leyan!
